The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a shooting in St. John's.

In a statement, the RNC said officers responded to a commercial area of Ropewalk Lane just after 2:30 a.m. NT Thursday and found a 40-year-old man with serious injuries consistent with a shooting.
