Newfoundland To Show Off Its Basketball Talent In NPH Showcase

St. John's native Cole Long earned exposure during the 2014 NPH Showcase. He now plays with the University of Detroit-Mercy in the NCAA.

Newfoundland & Labrador's best basketball talent will be on display this weekend at Gonzaga High School in the annual North Pole Hoops Newfoundland Showcase.

The showcase is part of a national series organized by the Canadian basketball gurus at North Pole Hoops. They make stops in Toronto, Hamilton, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Edmonton, British Columbia, and Quebec to identify the country's promising young basketball talent.

The showcase starts Friday evening at 5 p.m. and will test the players' skills, basketball IQ, and defense. The weekend-long event will culminate with Top Prospects games on Sunday. For a full schedule of activities, click HERE
